Bonfire Service
The quintessential country experience (let’s see indoor wedding venues do this).
There’s something about a bonfire, the crackle and the glow…the smell…it takes everybody back to childhood memories and happy times. Light a bonfire and you’ll find new groups of people mixing, talking and relating in such a wonderful way, while making memories your guests will never forget.
Enjoy a heartily build bonfire lit just after sunset, and carefully tended throughout your event.
Tree stump seats around the bonfire provide ample guest seating around our stone bonfire hearth.
Enjoy our incredible view overlooking The Confluence and the bright stars of the evening sky, clear and bright far away from the haze of city lights.

You may not think weddings and animals go well together, but these pictures prove how fun and romantic it can be to include some super-cute two and four-legged friends into your wedding day.

Our most favorite – “Rex”, a Friesian / Shire cross gelding, 5 years old and still growing – he’s spectacular in his glossy black coat with warm browns and his huge white feathered feet. He’s a gentleman and loves having his picture taken.
“Johnny Cash” – Our all black Percheron Draft horse is a gentle giant and a favorite of the Petting Zoo crowd as well as a good match for “Rex’ for wedding couple portraits
“Will” or “Good Will Express” as he was known on the track, is a descendant of Triple Crown winner ‘Northern Dancer’ as is a dark bay gelding with a heart of gold and the patience of a saint.
“Storm” or “Her Own Storm”, is our 10 year old great grand-daughter of THE MOST famous horse in the history of the sport – ‘SECRETARIAT’. We rescued ‘Storm’ from going to slaughter years ago, and our story with her was featured by Disney, CNN, Huffington Post, KSDK and the back story for National Enquirer (yes they write ONE real piece per issue). - Storm is gorgeous in her resemblance to her famous ancestry and an iconic choice for photos and the stories to be told of your famous equine co-star.
